I’m planning on going back to school next spring or fall to get my paralegal certificate. I already have a BA in Criminology. Do law firms look at what type of school you received your certificate from? I know that I want to go to an ABA approved college but will a community college be fine to go to? For some reason I feel like community colleges may not be good enough to get a decent job but I certainly wouldn’t mind going to one. Any suggestions?
What type of school is better to become a paralegal?

Names may impress some, but any school will have to meet the same level of accredidation standards for a program.

Yes, many larger law firms do, in fact, factor in whether your paralegal certificate comes from an ABA accredited or non-accredited school. (If you have the choice to go with either, why not opt for the one that you know will help get your foot in the door?)
