Pre-law might be the way to go. Poli Sci or government would also be a good suggestion, but paralegals need specific training in college, so find a school that has paralegal or pre-law programs.

Social sciences such as Political Science/English/History/. All require good writing skills, communication skills and are loosely related with the legal field.

If you are going to get a Bachelors Degree, you should aim your sights higher than just being a paralegal. Paralegal, at most, requires education at the Associates level. Aim higher, and get a real job, with better pay.

While you have the opportunity, you probably want to finish your bachelors degree. It may not directly benefit you as a paralegal, but when it comes to promotions, you may be ahead of the pack because of your degree.

Law, pre-law, Poly Sci

I have a friend who only went 2 years and he moved into a Law office and trained and did scut work and eventually got to do case work and after 7 years he switched sides.

Today he makes as much as an entry level lawyer. His salary would double if he went to law school and passed the BAr.

He makes about $50K a year now after 15 years experience for INSURANCE companies and PRIVATE LAYWERS specialziing in Workmans Comp claims.
