You can complete a paralegal certificate program in less time than taking a 2nd Associate's program (most post-associate's degree certificates are about 1 year part-time, less if you go full-time). You probably would be better off with paralegal training in a classroom, so you can network and do hands-on legal research. Whatever you choose, be careful to investigate the program by talking with working paralegals in your area - there are some terrible paralegal programs. You can waste a lot of time and money if you end up in one of them.
