I want to have a decent resume by the time I get my degree in paralegal studies, but I have no experience. How can I get a job position that will fit my resume while I have no degree and no prior experience as a paralegal?
How do I get Paralegal experience with no degree?

The first answerer gave a good response. Also try your county courthouse and district attorney’s office to see if they are in need of any clerks. Any kind of courthouse work, or work for an attorney will look good on your resume.

Simple enough–you need to work for an attorney (or a law firm). If you can’t find paid work as a runner or some such, then consider volunteering with your local legal aid society.

usually you can get an internship. your school might help. or you can also sometimes volunteer, for example at legal aid, after you have been in school for awhile and have some skills.

Depends on where you live and what company you work for.
A friend of mine got work at a company defending insurance companies for workman’s comp and after a while he was doing case work from home and court work with on 2 1/2 years of school. After 7 years he switched sides to a private firm that does workman’s comp cases for injured people and he’s been there 10 years.
He makes about $50K a year.

Start at a law office as a legal secretary. That will enable you to gain law office experience while you complete your degree. And if you talk to your office manager, you may get promoted to paralegal after graduation. The only way to become a paralegal, other than school, is by working your way up the law office ladder.
Having law office experience will put you way ahead of the game after graduation when it comes time to find employment as a paralegal. So I strongly encourage you to find a law office job asap, the more experience the better!
